What is the ACA or Obama Care?
The Affordable Care Act or ACA by its acronym in English, better known as Obama Care, is a health care system reform that includes various improvements to expand access to quality health care and improve patient services. This reform also states that residents of the United States can receive a tax credit to pay for their medical insurance.


What are the enrollment requirements?
To access a tax credit, you must mainly have a social security number and legal immigration status, plan to file your tax return for the year you are requesting coverage and receive income within a determining range according to the number of people you include on your tax return.


When can I register?
You can only enroll in a plan with Obama Care during the open enrollment period established by law for your State. The open enrollment period through the Health Insurance Marketplace for coverage in 2019 was from November 15 to December 15, 2018. You may qualify for a special enrollment period if you had certain events in your life, such as moving, having a child , get married, etc.

When does my coverage start?
